ある狩人が湖のほとりで水浴びをする乙女たちを見かける。白鳥の化身である彼女らの衣の一枚を隠すと,ひとりが取り残されてしまう。その乙女を嫁に迎え,こどもにも恵まれ幸せに暮らす夫婦だったが,狩人はある日秘密をばらしてしまう。狩人は衣を妻に渡し,妻はその衣をまとって白鳥に変身し天に帰っていく。夫婦のこども11人はその後(ホリ)ブリヤートの祖先として11の氏族の祖となった。
