ある狩人が湖のほとりで水浴びをする乙女たちを見かける。白鳥の化身である彼女らの衣の一枚を隠すと，ひとりが取り残されてしまう。その乙女を嫁に迎え，こどもにも恵まれ幸せに暮らす夫婦だったが，狩人はある日秘密をばらしてしまう。狩人は衣を妻に渡し，妻はその衣をまとって白鳥に変身し天に帰っていく。夫婦のこども11人はその後（ホリ）ブリヤートの祖先として11の氏族の祖となった。
A hunter finds a group of maidens bathing by a lake. When he hides one of their garments, which is an incarnation of a swan, one of them is left behind.The hunter marry the maiden and are blessed with children and live happily ever after, but one day the hunter reveals their secret. The hunter gives his wife the robe, which she wears, transforms into a swan and returns to heaven. The couple's eleven children later became the ancestors of the (Khori) Buryat, the ancestors of eleven clans.
