A man went on a journey. A night fell, he decided to stay at a place. Then he dropped a piece of food on a ground. He kept searching it, but he could not find. He didn't give up picking it up. Finally, he found it in the next morning. If he gave up picking it, he might have encountered a thief. After that, we have a custom to pick up the meat if we drop it at night.
